Since Chinese class is now over, I’m burdened with the task of starting SAT preparation again. I also have summer homework and a long list of books I want to read but never got a chance to read. Yesterday, when I was cleaning out my room, I found a stack of at least 20 Time Magazine issues that I had either flipped through or read completely. I have so much stuff in my room and not enough places to put them… I also cleaned off my desk and found the “computer” that I had made from cardboard and construction paper :P I made it the week after school got out simply because I was so bored. Creating that monitor, mouse, and speakers proved that I DO have a creative side. =)
I also took a SAT 2 Chinese practice test… HARHARHAR. >< I’ll die if I don’t start memorizing more vocabulary.
I was up until 2 AM chatting with Tony also. Chinese 102 starts on August 20th. I don’t know when I’ll be able to actually register for the class because our counselors won’t even be in their offices until August 20th, which is also the first day of band camp. We also switch to a totally different building but with the same teacher. :/ I’m so sick of retroflexes now… UGH.
“I want to go up to him on the first day and tell him, you know what, you’re not from Beijing so stop using retroflexes” Tony Tang. :)
