I think I’m going to like Optimality Theory. Was googling it….looking it up….
I think it’ll be easier to find the constraints than to find rules.
I think my least fave part of Phonology this quarter was doing the rules & stuff….. (: Thank goodness there’s stuff that I like… Autosegmental theory, optimality theory (?), meter/stress, the “good” stuff that I like.
